Wild Press Coverage
Fickle has been discovered on the busy board market! Some of the biggest names in Geek news are covering our Kickstarter; Gizmodo, BoardGameGeek and Dice Tower News to name a few.
Great game play, the amazing art of Amy Brown, a lot of hard work from the BARD Games team and your support has launched a wonderful game.
If you find an article, video or podcast you like, I hope you will share it on your social media to help us grow the fairy realm as we near our final week on Kickstarter.

Card Sleeve Fairy?
About 100 backers away from offering Fickle Card Sleeves! The minimum order for sleeves is large enough we set the bar high for this one, and I believe we will achieve it!
When we do, I will share our biggest problem... which fairy shall we feature on the card sleeves? I have narrowed it down to a few choices, that we will feature in a survey for the final choice. Let me know if you agree, any of these fairies would make amazing card sleeves!

Fairy Coin! C(19,5) Games. Why I Hate to Share...

Fairy Coin!
Let's upgrade that board game with a Kickstarter exclusive- an epoxy Court Crier 'coin' to upgrade the Court Crier token in the base game.
The Fickle Court Crier Coin will be a two sided epoxy round token, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. One side will show a fairy pointing left and the fairy on the other side pointing right.
This coin is used to clearly identify the Court Crier, the direction of play and that you are a serious member of the fairy court! These hand made coins will be exclusive to the Kickstarter (and maybe a few extras for my team!). If you want the complete Amy Brown upgrade, add $15 to your pledge. We will confirm your coin purchase via the pledge manager when the campaign ends.
And your coin will help unlock more Fairies into your game!
C(19,5) Games
So you think this is a simple little fairy game, eh? Think the fairy realm is easy to master, hmmm? Well here is the Combinations math on 19 Fairy Families and 5 decks each game...
With 11,628 games to play, Fickle does not grow stale! You will have a lot of fun discovering which Fairy Families you love, and which are so troubling for your strategies they cause you to wrinkle your nose and fly away.
Why I Hate to Share
I have played a lot of Fickle. Some cards I love... and then there is this card!
When Share is activated, this fairy causes ALL PLAYERS to rotate their fairy with the lowest Favor value. After so much careful strategy, bluffing and math, the Share fairy comes along and messes me up!
More specifically, my neighboring player gives me their lowest fairy, and chooses which if they have fairies of equally (low) Favor, pretty common in the late game. This further ensures that my new card hurts my Alliance plans.
However, I do have to admit she is a beautiful fairy!
A great Fairy Family to include in a Share game is the Distract fairy, who can help you avoid fairies like Share that Environmental Powers.

Look Who's Talking. How to Win- Coerce. Wolverine Approves!

Look Who's Talking
We are getting a lot of amazing press coverage for Fickle! Gizmodo, Dice Tower News and BoardGameGeek Kickstarter Hotness coming up this week. Share with your gaming friends!
Jackie Chao from Show Me How to Win (https://www.showmehowtowin.com/ ) cornered Eric for Fickle play tips. That's hard to do with over 11,000 combinations to play! So, here is just one tip...
Coerce allows you to take a card. And if you get 5 or more, you Shoot the Moon for a high score. So, a simple, winning move is to use Coerce to steal more Coerce until you build a winning alliance exploiting the most direct fairy in the game.
If you make this move, you are counting on other players too selfish to stop or take your Coerce cards before it's too late. Great counters to this move include Dispel, Purge and Erase fairies.
Wolverine Approves!
Another review of Fickle hits the air waves, this time from Logan Chops. Our masked reviewer cuts to the point... he loves Fickle. We met him early in the Fickle journey, and he was hooked.
I will get more info about the gorgeous Court Crier coin on Tuesday's update.
